I will now tell you how this wonderful chair came about: Even if most of you think that only creative masterminds sit here at John Barber and can create one chair after the other, I unfortunately have to disappoint you... Creativity sometimes fails us too out, but then we remind ourselves that we don't have to reinvent anything, we just have to look at what was there in the past and revive it. That's how it was with "Cerise", I found a picture from 1998 of three really old beat up chairs from the 20's loaded on a pickup truck, they had this interesting color combination, this dark red was so elegant and "thick" about it upholstery was stretched, plus this timeless frame. Now that our Strawberry Cheesecake has made its debut, we can't forget about the cherries.
